DIVA (Diaphragmatic Initiated Ventilatory Assist) is an NHLBI-funded multicenter trial comparing NIV-NAVA vs NIPPV to prevent extubation failure among preterm infants. Liz, Haresh Kirpalani, and Sherry Courtney are the clinical PIs of this exciting trial.
