As part of my medical training in the Netherlands, I had the opportunity to do research in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. For one semester, in 2015, I worked under the supervision of Dr. Foglia and studied the characteristics of cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the neonatal intensive care unit. After being done in the States, I finished my rotations back at home and graduated medical school. Currently I am training to become a military physician for the Dutch Navy. I would like to combine this with doing research into military medicine. Eventually I hope to specialize into emergency care medicine.
